Golf In Your State Films His Experience Living on the Rams Hill Property for 36 Days
If you visited Rams Hill Golf Club at the beginning of the season, you probably saw The Van.
Matt Cardis otherwise known as @golfinyourstate created his own unique stay-and-play for a couple of months, living in the desert, exploring the remnants of past golf holes, communing with the coyotes and roadrunners, and generally enjoying this piece of beauty surrounded by Anza-Borrego State Park.
He was our local celebrity, in-house photographer, maintenance crew fill-in, and true Rambassador — all at once. And now he’s put it all into a film as part of the My Island Green series on YouTube.

Matt made a connection with Rams Hill in late 2018, shortly after we created our first Instagram post. He described his experience as “getting lost and found” in the desert.
