I hope everyone’s summer is going along nicely. Rams Hill is now entrenched into the heat of summer, but the team is diligently getting ready for the upcoming season. A major landscape project is underway primarily around the tee boxes on hole #2 and all along the entire south side of hole #3.

Jose and the turf department are hard at work in preparation of “HOPEFULLY” opening the golf course sometime in October this year. As mentioned to many of you, this will be a game-time decision as it will be dictated on the weather, the condition of our overseed, and the condition of our bentgrass greens. We will keep you informed with our social media and monthly newsletters.

On the food and beverage side, Dennis O’Leary is working at completely revamping our menu and food offerings. The upcoming season will feature at least three themed dinner special nights. Last season, the Wednesday Night Italian Night was popular, so we intend to make it more robust and to build two other themed nights around it. This season, the clubhouse and restaurant will open officially on October 12, with a soft opening building toward our Season Opening Party on November 2nd. More information will follow in the next newsletter.

I hope to have detailed information in next month’s newsletter on our 2019/2020 membership offerings as well as our guest fees for the upcoming season.
